The mother gave birth to a girl and her twin sister after 87 days: What do girls look like these days?

Maria and Chris Jones-Elliot were overjoyed when they learned they were expecting twin children. They already had an adult son and daughter, and they were anticipating the arrival of two younger sisters at the same time.

Amy and Katie were names chosen in advance by the couple. The twins were due to arrive in September, but things didn’t go as planned. Maria knew she was going to be a mother at the end of May, when she was in her 24th week of pregnancy. She rushed to the nearest clinic and gave birth to her daughter Amy on June 1.

Having been born prematurely, the baby felt quite normal, given that her weight was only 540 grams. But her sister was in no hurry with the birth. She was able to stay and wait for her term due to the peculiarities of the mother’s body.

Maria gave birth to Katie on August 27, 2012, 87 days after her twin sister was born. Katie weighed 2550 kilos and stood around 44 cm tall.

The twins were permitted to go practically simultaneously. Amy had gained a lot of weight at that point, but she was still visibly smaller than her sister.

The sisters, who were born nearly three months apart, drew the attention of journalists right away. They also established a new world record, which was documented by Guinness Book of Records personnel.

Amy and Kathy have two birthdays despite the fact that they are twins. And both girls receive congratulations and gifts in each of them.

Amy had nearly caught up to her younger sister in development by the age of a year. The twins’ appearances grew quite similar, yet the characters of the females looked to be entirely different.

Amy is now eight years old, and Katie is just seven, but she will soon celebrate her birthday and catch up with her sister. This year, the twin girls will be entering the second grade of primary school. They learn quickly and assist one another in everything.

The girls’ names are put on their schoolbags to help peers and instructors distinguish them. But parents can easily find many differences among their daughters, who were born with a difference of 87 days.
