The ‘hideous’ baby has grown into a beautiful young girl.

Angelica was born on May 6, 2018, and she was simply stunning. She had a charming button nose, beautiful eyes, and a heart-shaped port wine stain on her face.

Her mother, Marianna Bowering, stated that while many of her friends and relatives are supportive of Angelica’s birthmark, some people still feel compelled to comment on her daughter’s looks.

“The worst internet remark I’ve received was when someone inquired whether her face had been forced into a pan. Bowering stated that her face seemed to be broiled.

Unfortunately, when I originally applied this makeup look to seem as lovely as Angelica, she was sleeping for the night, so today.

Marianna said that her daughter received harsh words, including being characterized as “hideous” and a “defect”. The brutality and insensitivity of such statements exacerbated the difficulties this family experienced, but their strength and drive to overcome these hurdles eventually led to a miraculous change.

Despite the unpleasant comments, Bowering is doing everything she can to ensure that Angelica grows up believing that she is lovely just the way she is.

The 27-year-old mother recently decided to apply cosmetics to recreate her 5-year-old daughter’s birthmark on her own face.

“I got the idea from vascular birthmark awareness day, where they encourage people to paint a heart on the cheeks,” Bowering said in an interview. “Initially I just did the heart with my makeup look but then I thought why don’t I go all out and do Angelica’s port wine stain.”

I wanted to appear as gorgeous as my baby, so I applied my makeup to match! She’s still attractive…Published by Marianna Bowering on Saturday, May 16, 2020.

Marianna was devastated when some people said her daughter’s face spots would diminish with time, while others said Angelica could just disguise them with cosmetics if she wanted.

These statements further exacerbated the mother’s grief and fury, as she wondered why her daughter should have to hide her innate beauty rather than embrace it.

It was a sobering reminder of the hard reality experienced by those who do not adhere to traditional beauty standards, but it also emphasized the need of accepting and loving all people, regardless of appearance.

Bowering and her husband both agreed that their daughter’s birthmark was nothing to be embarrassed of. So they deliberately seek to ensure that they understand it is something to be embraced.

Before the matching “birthmark,” Bowering glittered Angelica’s port wine stain to “make it shine.”

Children with port wine stains on their faces are at danger of developing additional health problems, but Bowering assured TODAY that Angelica is well.

“Thankfully, we’ve done tests and Angelica is totally healthy,” Bowering told the media. “We just need to have regular check-ups, especially for her eyes as glaucoma can be a concern.”

Angelica, you are extremely stunning. Never let anybody convince you otherwise.

Marianna, thank you for being such a wonderful mother and for constantly demonstrating to your daughter that her birthmark is perfectly normal.
