In an interview with The Sun in April, he discussed how he dealt with the aftermath of his e-bike accident.
“I was in such a terrible place when I fractured my back that I thought for the first time in my life that I would go to therapy,” he told me.
I was so unhappy that I couldn’t express my sentiments to Eric. I wondered when I’d be able to resume activities with him, such as going for walks and playing football.
On February 14, 2014, Simon and Lauren welcomed Eric into the world. Following his bike misadventures, the TV personality said that his child had given him a humorous new moniker.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the Britain’s Got Talent judge admits to feeling “embarrassed” after watching the programs at home.
Simon took comfort in the fact that his child had drawn a link between him and the well-known superhero Iron Man, despite the fact that his back is now kept together by metal rods and screws after surgery.
