Matt LeBlanc returns to Instagram after an 11-month hiatus and pays heartfelt homage to Matthew Perry.

Matt LeBlanc has broken his silence to pay respect to his buddy and “brother,” Matthew Perry.

LeBlanc, 56, paid tribute to his on-screen roommate and closest buddy with a heartfelt Instagram message.

It was the actor from Friends’ first post on the social networking platform since January 2023.

“I say goodbye with a heavy heart.” “The times we spent together are honestly among my favorite times of my life,” LeBlanc wrote with a carousel of vintage photographs from the cast of the iconic NBC comedy.

“It was a privilege to share the stage with you and call you a friend.” I’ll always remember you with a grin, and I’ll never forget you. Never.”

“Brother, spread your wings and fly, you’re finally free.” Much love,” he said.

“And I guess you’re keeping the 20 bucks you owe me,” LeBlanc joked.

Perry was discovered deceased at his Los Angeles home last month. Fans from all across the world paid homage to him after his passing.

Friends’ cast issued a collective statement in the aftermath of his passing.

“We are all completely crushed by Matthew’s death. We were more than simply coworkers. We are a unit. “There is so much to say, but for the time being, we’re going to grieve and process this unfathomable loss,” the statement said. “We will say more as we are able in the future.” For the time being, our thoughts and prayers are with Matty’s family, friends, and everyone who loved him throughout the world.”

Perry had a private funeral earlier this month. His former co-stars were allegedly present.

Officials are still investigating Perry’s death, but they do not suspect foul play.

Matt LeBlanc’s homage tears my heart. Their characters were one of the finest friend duos ever, and I’m sure their friendship extended into real life.

I can’t image what Matt LeBlanc is going through. My thoughts and prayers are with him.
