“Magical Outfit:” Nicole Kidman Wore an Iconic Dress She Wore 19 Years Ago to the Met Gala.

This year’s Met Gala celebrates Karl Lagerfeld, the late fashion designer who died in 2019. Many celebrities wore Chanel gowns at the occasion as an homage to the couturier. Nicole Kidman was no exception.

The 55-year-old actress posed for photos in a powder-pink gown with a long train embellished with rhinestones and ostrich feathers. That night, the actress was among the celebrities who appeared to be brides. Penelope Cruz, Dua Lipa, and Irina Shayk were among others who dressed down in an iconic white Yohji Yamamoto gown and abandoned the shoes.

Nicole stole the stage at the gala, looking stunning in a gown she wore 19 years ago. Tom Cruise’s ex-wife featured in it for a Chanel No. 5 perfume ad in 2004. Kidman appeared in the video, which was fittingly titled Le Film. This is a mini-film directed by the famous Baz Luhrmann, not merely a promotional video.

Nicole looked just as stunning in it this time as she did almost 20 years ago. The actress wore bold earrings and adorned her loose hair with a black ribbon that matched her shoes. Keith Urban, Kidman’s husband, was there at the Met Gala. The musician looked dapper in a black tailcoat and a white shirt. The pair looked to be happy.

“Thanks for the memories!” the actress said on her blog after the ball. Fans of the actress adored her appearance and lavished her with praises.

“The world’s most beautiful woman!” You were excellent and gave tribute to the designer. It was wonderful to see your legendary Chanel commercial again.” “What a joy to see you in that dress again!” “What a magical gown!”, “Nicole is my favorite at this ball.” The gown is straight out of a fairy tale! “Karl Lagerfeld is overjoyed,” users said.
