Jennifer Aniston gets oil savagely thrown over her while filming for The Morning Show

When Jennifer Aniston appeared in character on The Morning Show, fake oil was flung over her, but some folks were puzzled.

The instant Jennifer Aniston’s character from The Morning Show got drenched in artificial oil was captured on camera.

The Morning Show, an American TV drama for Apple TV+, looks deeply into the competitive world of morning TV, addressing current events and how they’ve been reported in the media, including the #MeToo movement and the coronavirus outbreak.

Additionally, a scene from the upcoming fourth season shows Jennifer Aniston’s character, Alex Levy, being pelted with oil by demonstrators.

The Morning Show was confirmed for a fourth season prior to the third season’s debut.

Filming for the newest season officially began earlier this month on July 8 when Aniston posted a selfie of herself and co-star Reese Witherspoon on Instagram.

Additionally, images and even video of Aniston getting oil thrown over her while acting on the set of the movie have subsequently been circulated online.

A video that was uploaded to TikTok and then went viral on Twitter features Aniston on the set, facing a crowd of demonstrators who some have speculated are climate activists.

Signs bearing slogans like “Truth Warrior” are being held by protesters when fake oil is suddenly and violently thrown towards Aniston from the right.

And it doesn’t take long for program viewers to swarm social media with commentary on the situation.

Many users appeared perplexed by the video, failing to recognize that it was shot on location for the TV show.

“The people protesting big oil threw oil on Jennifer Aniston and she looks confused and horrified,” a Twitter user stated. Why do you suppose they were aiming at her?

“By whom, and why did they do it?” One more was added.

You can hear the word “cut” being shouted at the very end of the clip, though, which is a strong sign that the sequence is planned and intended for the series.

A second commenter stated, “It’s obviously acting.”

“My guy, that’s from the show.” A third said, “There’s a ‘cut’ at the end of the longer version of the video, and everyone breaks.”

“The fact some people thought this was real is very concerning,” concluded the fourth person.

The Morning Show’s fourth season is now in production; although an Apple TV+ release date has not yet been announced, it is anticipated to stream in 2025.
