It’s tough to put into words how we feel the first time we find out we’re going to be parents. It makes no difference whether we are pregnant moms or fathers; the great majority of us are just thrilled to learn that we are having a kid.
Naturally, our immediate thoughts are ones of hope. Perhaps we envisage how our child will appear, or what we plan to teach or experience with them. Many of us wonder what it would be like to have them in our arms for the first time.
Unfortunately, not all pregnancies result in the bliss that most of us expect. Carlos Morales of Phoenix, Arizona, exemplifies the bittersweet essence of life.
Carlos and Erica Morales appeared to be a perfect combination. The pair started dating in 2006 after meeting at a nightclub in Scottsdale, Arizona, and despite a language barrier (Carlos didn’t speak English and Erica didn’t speak Spanish), they were unmistakably drawn to one another.
According to rumors, Carlos and Erica spent a large portion of their first night dancing. When the nightclub closed, Carlos scrawled down his phone number on a piece of paper and gave it to Erica to do with as she pleased.

Erica eventually misplaced the paper containing Carlos’ phone number, and that may have been the end of it. Fate, it seemed, had other intentions.
The pair reconnected, this time through mutual acquaintances, and quickly recognized that their love for each other were genuine.
Carlos learnt English to better interact with Erica as a sign of his dedication. Meanwhile, Erica was learning Spanish.
“Look at the benefits. Even when they scream, I want to give them the greatest kiss.”That’s what.

The couple married in a Las Vegas ceremony in 2007 and then began attempting to start a family.
Their first effort ended tragically with a miscarriage. Erica, however, became pregnant again thanks to fertility therapy, and this time the pair was in for a huge surprise.
When Erica went for her first ultrasound, doctors told her she was expecting four babies!
Carlos and Erica prepared to become parents of quadruplets over the course of many months. Carrying four children rapidly took its toll on Erica, so Carlos tried his best to look after her while still handling housework like cooking and cleaning.

Erica was brought to the hospital on January 12, 2015, for excessive blood pressure. Before Carlos could join her there, she texted him that physicians wanted to deliver the kids immediately away due to her constant contractions.
When Carlos arrived, he and Erica shot images and films to save as memories in the future. Before Erica entered the delivery room, Carlos seemed to kiss his wife on the head and say, “Let’s get these babies out.”
He had no idea that day would have far-reaching consequences.
Carlos stated that his and Erica’s quadruplets – three girls and one boy – were born by C-section.
“We were so excited to start our family,” Carlo explained, according to Yahoo. “And then it all came crashing down.”
In a sad twist of destiny, Erica had hypovolemic shock immediately after giving birth, a disease marked by significant blood and fluid loss.
Carlos was sitting at his wife’s bedside when alarms rang and nurses rushed in. The new father was ordered to wait outside as medical staff treated his wife. When a doctor appeared an hour later, Carlos was informed that Erica had died.
Since his wife’s sad death, Carlos Morales and his quadruplets have won the hearts of Americans.”We are just…”

He pondered: “How could this have happened? She was OK, but then she wasn’t. She was living, and suddenly she was gone. After enjoying the finest day of my life, I had the worst day of my life the next morning. My four babies were born, and suddenly my wife died.”
Carlos named his three children Carlos Jr., Paisley, and Tracey after a discussion he had with his late wife. He named the third young daughter “Erica”.
On January 16, 2015, the devastated father was permitted to take two of his children home from the hospital. The remaining two were allowed to return home on March 11.
Despite his overwhelming sense of grief and sadness at his love’s death, Carlos realized he had to be there for his children. The father of four attended baby-care seminars, learning how to clean his children, feed them when they were hungry, and regulate their sleep routines. He also learnt CPR.
Eventually, Erica’s mother, Sondra Bridges, moved in with Carlos to assist him care for her grandkids.

“It’s funny how things turn out,” Sondra added. “It’s bittersweet, but due to God and the public’s outpouring of love, it’s been fantastic. And I want to thank each and every one of you. We are grateful for all of your support.”
I can only image the emotional rollercoaster that Carlos experienced when his children were born. What do you think of his story? Let us know in the comments section.
