Modern society is moving away from traditional standards of beauty and toward a focus on naturalness and comfort. Even with all this growth, many plus-size women still have problems with how they look.
Megan Fisher once struggled with her own fears, but she learned to accept herself in the end.

In 2014, Megan learned about body positivity, which was a new idea at the time. This gave her new power and confidence. She broke up with her boyfriend, quit the job she didn’t like, and moved to a big city. There, she changed into a new person who wouldn’t let anyone put her down.

Megan didn’t wear swimsuits for most of her life, so she couldn’t go on beach trips.
But once she realized how beautiful she was, she bought a lot of swimsuits and encouraged other plus-size women to do the same, showing them they had nothing to be ashamed of.

Even though Megan only has about 10,000 Instagram fans right now, her bravery and love for herself have made a big difference in the world.

Her example is not a call to be fat or lazy. Instead, it is a lesson of acceptance and love for oneself.
