The Zalte family lives in India, in the city of Mumbai. In 2016, Shetal gave birth to conjoined twins.
The fact that they were conjoined twins was revealed during the fifth month of pregnancy. At the time, doctors were unsure if it would be possible to separate the children.
However, Chetal and Sagar Zalte decided that their children should come into the world and prepared for a potential surgical operation. The babies, Prince and Love, were born healthy but joined together.

After birth, the babies underwent thorough examinations, and doctors declared that separation would be possible, but the babies needed to reach the age of one.
Preparation for the operation lasted for two months.
In December 2017, a team of 30 specialists worked for twelve hours to fulfill the parents’ sacred dream and give the children a new life.
Towards morning, Dr. Shakuntala Prabhu informed Chetal and Sagar of the long-awaited good news: “We have succeeded, it’s all over!”

The separated children had much to learn. Under the supervision of specialists, they first learned to crawl, then to stand, and finally, at the age of two, to walk.
During this time, Prince and Love were constantly monitored by doctors, who cared for them deeply.
On the day of the first anniversary of their separation, they visited the doctors and celebrated this significant milestone together with the little ones and their parents.
With the separation of the conjoined twins, the medical center gained fame.

It is currently the most specialized center for such cases. The twins, separated in 2017, are now six years old. They are identical twins and look very much alike.
They resemble each other, feel the same way, and have similar preferences. They are very active and do not stand out from their peers.
