Christina Applegate left in tears after a standing ovation at the Emmys, and everyone is saying the same thing.

Christina Applegate burst into tears after receiving a standing ovation at Friday night’s 75th Emmy Awards.

The actress’ well-documented fight with multiple sclerosis has caught the hearts of fans all over the world, and while her health concerns have undoubtedly been a major challenge, Applegate continues to put on a brave front.

Last night (Monday, January 15), the 52-year-old came to the stage with a cane to deliver two Emmy awards, and people in attendance applauded her look.

Applegate, widely known for her work in films like Anchorman and television shows like Dead to Me, was assisted across the stage by actor Anthony Anderson.

As the actress approached the platform, the crowd at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles rose to its feet in support.

It was an emotional occasion that had a significant impact on Applegate.

“Thank you very lot! “Oh my God!” She said.

“You’re totally shaming me [and my] disability by standing up.”

She continued: “Some of you may recognize me as Kelly Bundy from Married with Children. We don’t have to clap every time I do anything.

The Bad Moms actress ended her remarks by assuring the crowd, “I’m going to cry even more than I’ve been crying.”

Unsurprisingly, Christina’s reaction and overall respect for an inspirational woman who has been through so much recently struck a chord with people watching from home.

“The standing ovation for Christina Applegate has me bawling already,” a member of the audience wrote.

“I adore Christina Applegate,” another said. “She’s an incredible comic performer who is also very stunning (as she has always been!). “Her zings here are fire.”

“Man, that was a beautiful moment for Christina Applegate,” a third person said.

“I awoke at 4:30 a.m. and immediately saw the video of Christina Applegate receiving a standing ovation.” “And now I’m going to have to cry myself back to sleep,” a fourth revealed.

Applegate confirmed her MS diagnosis in 2021, and she stated last year that the ailment will likely prevent her from acting on camera again.

“With the disease of MS, it’s never a good day,” she told the magazine. “You can’t go down the stairs and carry stuff anymore. It f—ing sucks!”

She went on, “I’m probably not going to work on-camera again.”

“I can’t image going on the set right now. This is a progressive illness. I’m not sure if I’m going to become worse. I can perform voiceover work since I need to support my family and keep my mind active.
