A single dad adopts a kid with Down syndrome he fell in love with at first sight, and they are extremely happy together.

Ryan Sciberras, 32, was a special education teacher in St. Lucia, Malta.

He had always wanted to be a parent, but after a few romances, he decided against marrying and instead adopted a child to raise as his own.

But because Ryan was unmarried, he was anxious that his adoption application would be denied.

The man filled out several papers about his financial situation, mental health, and so on. To his great surprise, he was able to adopt a small child.

Ryan came upon a small kid named Kay who was an orphan and needed a family.

“When I saw his photo for the first time, I immediately decided that the little one was going to become my son,” the guy stated in an online post.

Ryan expected the adoption procedure would take a long time, but everything proceeded swiftly and the prospective father had no complications.

“I succeeded, the adoption was completed, and I now have my own baby,” the young father said on his Facebook.

Friends and family helped the new father by providing a stroller, a cot, and a variety of adorable outfits for tiny Kay.

“I’m lucky to have a son and be surrounded by kind people,” he added.

Ryan had expertise as a specialist teacher, and despite the fact that his kid had Down syndrome, he resolved to do everything he could to provide him with the best possible life.

Ryan’s parents likewise adored baby Kay and showered her with affection and attention.

As the child got older, the link between father and son grew deeper.
