It’s hard to believe, but before Nusret Gokce became popular, he went through a lot of trouble.

He even had to quit school at one point. Because his parents could not pay for him to go to school. The guy had to go to work to help his family in some way.

At age 14, he got a job as a junior cook in a kitchen, where he was always taught how to make meat.

At age 27, the young man opened his first small restaurant that could only fit up to eight people.

“I tried all the time to get better at making meat. Even when I was told I couldn’t train in the U.S., I didn’t give up and kept working toward my goal. This is likely what made me one of the best at what I do.”

Now, the Internet star owns a series of popular steakhouses where the minimum dinner bill is between $1,700 and $2,000.
